In winter, look for Merganso-grande and Guincho-comum, while summer brings Andorinha-do-mar-comum fishing in the water. The surrounding trees and parks attract Chapim-azul, Tentilhão-comum and falcão-peregrino, which can sometimes be seen hunting in the city skyline.
