Many birds can be seen in the Vossemeer, especially in winter. Observing is best done from the Vossemeerdijk on the Flevoland side. Nice ducks as Arrabio, Merganso-pequeno and Merganso-grande can be seen here. In the south there is a sandbank, which is dry with south or east wind. Then there is a chance of waders in all seasons. The Vossemeer borders the Ketelmeer. Ketelhaven gives a chance Abetouro-comum , Guarda-rios-comum en Mergulhão-pequeno

You can drive best on the Flevoland-side. There are enough parkings where you can stop with a view on the water. There is also a cyclingpath along the lakeside.
