Solleveld is a unique dune area that's part of National Park Hollandse Duinen. The trees here are curved by the salty sea breeze. The oak trees in this area are special because nowhere else in the Netherlands they grow so close to the sea. Solleveld also has open areas with heather and shrubs. There are many open areas with infiltration pools. The alternation between open and closed vegetation shows the character of Solleveld. There is a large colony of Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas present. Until not too long ago, this area was only accessible to people with a special passe-partout. Due to this, Solleveld is a rather unknown gem. Solleveld is now accessible with a day ticket, because of the special and vulnerable nature.
Some species you might find here are: Abetouro-comum, Açor, Rouxinol-bravo, Cartaxo-comum, Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Pintarroxo-comum and many more! If you're lucky, you might even see Coruja-do-nabal!

Nederlands: Een mooie wandeling door een uniek gebied met bos, heide, gras en helder water. Let op: je hebt een ticket nodig om Solleveld binnen te kunnen. Solleveld is een uniek duingebied dat deel uitmaakt van National Park Hollandse Duinen. De bomen hier zijn gebogen door de zoute zeebries. De eiken zijn speciaal omdat ze nergens anders in Nederland zo dicht bij de zee groeien. Solleveld heeft ook open gebieden met heide en struiken. Er zijn ook veel open gebieden met infiltratiepoelen. Er is een afwisseling tussen open en gesloten vegetatie. Er is een grote kolonie Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas aanwezig. Tot niet zo lang geleden was dit gebied alleen toegankelijk voor mensen met een speciale passe-partout. Hierdoor is Solleveld een vrij onbekend juweeltje. Solleveld is nu toegankelijk met een dagticket, vanwege de speciale en kwetsbare aard.
Sommige soorten die je hier zou kunnen vinden, zijn: Abetouro-comum, Açor, Rouxinol-bravo, Cartaxo-comum, Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Pintarroxo-comum en nog veel meer! Als je geluk hebt, zie je misschien zelfs Coruja-do-nabal.

Solleveld can only be entered on foot, bicycles are not allowed. There is a place to park your car/bicycle nearby. In order to get to Solleveld, you first have to go through the Hyacintenbos for a bit, a beautiful forest on its own. You then go through a gate, entering Solleveld. Once in Solleveld, there are two round trips you can make. A shorter one, of approximately 3.5 kilometers, and a longer one that is accessible outside of the breeding season only, of little less than 5 kilometers.

Nederlands: Solleveld is alleen te voet toegankelijk, fietsen is niet toegestaan. Er is een plek om je auto/fiets in de buurt te parkeren. Zie de P op de kaart. Om naar Solleveld te gaan, moet je eerst een stukje door het Hyacintenbos gaan, een prachtig bos op zichzelf. Je gaat dan door een poort en gaat Solleveld binnen. Eenmaal in Solleveld zijn er twee rondwandelingen die je kunt maken. Een kortere, van ongeveer 3,5 kilometer, en een langere die alleen buiten het broedseizoen toegankelijk is, van iets minder dan 5 kilometer.
