Polderpark Cronesteyn is a popular polder area and park with meadows, ditches and an old heron forest. Felosa-palustre, Abetouro-comum, Rouxinol-bravo and Galinhola are birds that can be found here. A variety of meadow birds can also be observed. The heron forest, the paths through the meadows and along the forest edges make it a varied place to find different bird species. Guarda-rios-comum, Colhereiro and Garça-real breed in the area.

Nederlands: Polderpark Cronesteyn is een populair poldergebied en park grenzend aan Leiden met weides, slootjes en een oud reigerbos. Felosa-palustre, Abetouro-comum, Rouxinol-bravo en Galinhola kan je hier vinden. Ook een verscheidenheid aan weidevogels zijn te bekijken. Het reigerbos, de lanen door de weides en langs de bosranden maakt het een afwisselende plek om verschillende vogelsoorten te vinden. Ondermeer de Guarda-rios-comum, Colhereiro en Garça-real broeden in het gebied.

Parking is difficult because it is a car-free area. You can park at the Cronesteyn restaurant near the heron forest. You have to walk 10 minutes for that. The best option is to come by bike and park in the northeast. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 5 km.

Nederlands: Parkeren is lastig, omdat het een autoluw gebied is. Je kan eventueel parkeren bij restaurant Cronesteyn in de buurt van het reigerbos. Daar moet je 10 minuten voor lopen. Het beste is met de fiets parkeren in het noordoosten. De rondwandeling die is aangeven op de kaart is ongeveer 5 km.
