Descrição
The Plompe Tower is the church tower (and only remnant) of Koudekerke. A former village on Schouwen-Duiveland that was once swallowed by the waves. This is good place to enjoy the view on the Oosterschelde and Schouwen-Duiveland. Many birds are attracted by the so calles 'inlages', low-lying, moist grasslands that are partly submerged. In spring you see Perna-vermelha-comum, Maçarico-de-bico-direito, Alfaiate and Guincho-comum. In the winter months, thousands of Ganso-de-faces-brancas and Ganso-de-faces-negras forage on the brackish grassland.
