De Oeverlanden is a nature reserve with rugged nature. The area is a remnant of the original peat landscape. It consists mainly of reed land and marshy forest and is an important habitat for wetland birds such as the rouxinol-dos-caniços, Escrevedeira-dos-caniços, Guarda-rios-comum, Rouxinol-comum and Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis. In the small reed marsh in the forest, you can find bird species like Açor, Rouxinol-bravo, Felosa-dos-juncos and Frango-d'água.

Nederlands: De Oeverlanden is een natuurgebied in Amsterdam Nieuw-West met ruige natuur. Het gebied is een restant van het oorspronkelijke veenlandschap en één van de natuurkernen in het Amsterdamse Bos. Het bestaat vooral uit rietland en moerasbos en het is een belangrijk leefgebied voor moerasvogels zoals de rouxinol-dos-caniços, Escrevedeira-dos-caniços, Rouxinol-comum, Guarda-rios-comum en Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis. In het kleine rietmoeras in het bos kun je vogelsoorten vinden als Açor, Rouxinol-bravo, Felosa-dos-juncos, Cuco-canoro en Frango-d'água.
