The Noordlaarderbos is a very nice forest with different kinds of forest birds, with at least three different kinds of woodpecker (Pica-pau-preto, Pica-pau-malhado-pequeno, Pica-pau-malhado-grande). This mixed forest is also home to birds of prey such as Gavião da Europa, Açor and Bufo-pequeno and also Corvo and Cruza-bico-comum.
