Noorderpark Ruigenhoek on the outskirts of the city of Utrecht is a big nature and recreation area. You will find wetlands, forest, fortresses, bunkers, polder landscape and many hiking trails. Birds you can encounter there are Frango-d'água, Cuco-canoro, Abibe-comum, Abetouro-comum, Garça-roxa, Andorinha-do-mar-comum, Mocho-galego, Guarda-rios-comum, Felosa-dos-juncos, Pisco-de-peito-azul, Dom-fafe and Felosa-icterina.

Noorderpark Ruigenhoek can be found on the northern edge of Utrecht. The area is accessible daily between sunrise and sunset and is easily accessible by bicycle or car. You can park for free in one of the 6 parking spaces. From Utrecht Overvecht train station you are in the middle of the area after a 20-minute walk. The area is best explored on foot or by bicycle. Numerous hiking routes are possible. The route on the map is the Rondje Ruigenhoek and follows the network of walking trails, recognizable by the orange shields with blue numbers and arrows. The route starts and ends at the parking lot at Gageldijk, Gageldijk 1, Utrecht. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking lot. From there, follow the walking route via the map or via these number: 21 - 41 - 42 - 43 - 44 - 48 - 47 - 46 - 45 - 38 - 39 - 41 - 21.

Nederlands: Noorderpark Ruigenhoek vind je aan de rand van Utrecht-Noord. Het gebied is dagelijks toegankelijk tussen zonsopgang en zonsondergang en is goed te bereiken met de fiets of met de auto. Parkeren kan gratis op één van de 6 parkeerplaatsen. Vanaf treinstation Utrecht Overvecht ben je na 20 minuten lopen midden in het gebied. Het gebied is het beste lopend of met de fiets te verkennen. Er zijn talloze wandelroutes mogelijk. De route op de kaart is het Rondje Ruigenhoek en volgt het wandelknooppuntennetwerk, te herkennen aan de oranje schildjes met blauwe cijfers en pijlen. De route start en eindigt op parkeerplaats aan de Gageldijk, Gageldijk 1, Utrecht. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar de parkeerplaats.
