Neeltje Jans is an artificial island in the province of Zeeland, halfway between Noord-Beveland and Schouwen-Duiveland in the Oosterschelde. After the construction of the dam, various expositions were built on the island, which are now connected to the shore through the dam. A part of the island is a nature reserve. You can encounter surprising bird species on Neeltje Jans. While you take a nice walk along the Oosterschelde and the North Sea coast, you have a good chance of seeing nice bird species and many real 'sea species' such as Torda-mergulheira, Arau-comum, Pato-preto and Moleiro-parasítico. But also a chance of nice passerines.

Nederlands: Verrassende vogelsoorten kun je tegenkomen op voormalig werkeiland Neeltje Jans. Terwijl je lekker wandelt langs de Oosterschelde en de Noordzeekust, heb je goede kans op mooie vogelsoorten en veel echte 'zee-soorten' zoals Torda-mergulheira, Arau-comum, Pato-preto en Moleiro-parasítico.
