Mildenburg is a former estate with big beech and oak trees that line the estate's Lange Laan. Listen to the drumming of the Pica-pau-malhado-grande and the high strokes of the Trepadeira-comum. In the spring, the Papa-figos also is present.

Nederlands: Mildenburg is een voormalig barok landgoed met lange bomenlaan met daaromheen een bosrijk, soms heuvelachtig park. Langs de Lange Laan van het landgoed staan statige beuken en eiken. Luister naar het geroffel van de Pica-pau-malhado-grande en de hoge uithalen van de Trepadeira-comum. In het voorjaar meldt zich bovendien de Papa-figos.

From Spijkenisse Centrum metro station, take bus 403 to Oostvoorne. Get off at the De Ruy stop. From bus stop De Ruy in Oostvoorne you walk to the entrance of the area located at Hoflaan 13 in Oostvoorne. The area should be explored on foot. By car: From Rotterdam, follow the A15 / N15 and the N218 to Oostvoorne. At the roundabout, turn right to Oostvoorne. Follow the signs to Centrum. After the bus station, turn right towards the beach (Stationsweg) and take the first road to the right (Burg. Letteweg). Keep right at the end, then take the first left (Dorpsplein). Go straight on into Hoflaan and park on the right after 100 m.

Nederlands: Neem vanaf metrostation Spijkenisse Centrum buslijn 403 naar Oostvoorne. Stap uit bij halte De Ruy. Vanaf bushalte De Ruy in Oostvoorne loop je naar de ingang van het gebied gelegen op de Hoflaan 13 in Oostvoorne. Het gebied dient te voet te worden verkend. Met de auto: Volg vanuit Rotterdam de A15/N15 en de N218 naar Oostvoorne. Sla bij de rotonde rechts af naar Oostvoorne. Volg de borden richting Centrum. Ga na het busstation rechtsaf richting strand (Stationsweg) en neem de eerste weg rechtsaf (Burg. Letteweg). Hou aan het einde rechts aan, dan eerste weg linksaf (Dorpsplein). Ga rechtdoor de Hoflaan in en parkeer na 100 m rechts.
