The Johannapolder is located west of the Rhoon marina. The beautifully situated recreational area consists of sheep pasture, an ash and willow flood forest and a creek. Birds you may encounter in the area are Cuco-canoro, Abibe-comum, Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, Garça-real, chapim-montês, Pica-pau-malhado-grande, Pica-pau-verde, Rouxinol-bravo, Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto and Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca.

Nederlands: De Johannapolder ligt ten westen van de jachthaven van Rhoon. Een recreatiegebied en coulisselandschap van 20 hectare aan de Oude Maas. Het gebied bestaat uit schapenweide, een essen- en wilgenvloedbos en een kreek.
