Brandemeer has an easily accessible walking route and a bird watching hide tot explore this low moor area. You walk through the reed and marsh area with a lot of alternation between water, reed and alder and young birch trees. Common species are: Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas, Ganso-comum, Pato-real, but sometimes also Açor, Ógea, Pintarroxo-comum and Felosa-dos-juncos.

Nederlands: In dit laagveengebied is een goed begaanbare wandelroute uitgezet en een vogelkijkhut. Over de ribben loop je door het riet- en moerasgebied met veel afwisseling tussen water, riet en elzen en berken opslag. Veel voorkomende soorten zijn: Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas, Ganso-comum, Pato-real, maar ook soms Açor, Ógea, Pintarroxo-comum en Felosa-dos-juncos.

There is a small parking lot at the info shed of Staatsbosbeheer. Click on the P in the map for directions. This is where the long walking route of 6 km starts that runs all the way around the area. But you can also just walk to the bird hide. At the bridge on the road is a short walking path directly to the bird hide.

Nederlands: Er is een klein parkeerterreintje bij info schuurtje van Staatsbosbeheer. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving. Daar start de lange wandelroute van 6 km die helemaal rond het gebied loopt. Maar je kunt ook alleen naar de vogelkijkhut lopen. Bij het bruggetje aan de weg is een kort wandelpad rechtstreeks naar de vogelkijkhut.
