With al the old beeches in this part of the forest this is definitely the best place to find Pica-pau-mediano andPica-pau-preto. The Beekhuizensebeek is also home to Alvéola-cinzenta and sometimes Guarda-rios-comum is around in the area. The pine forest on the edges will definitely be good for Chapim-de-poupa, Estrelinha-de-cabeça-listada and Chapim-preto. During the walk keep your eyes and ears open for Açor, Dom-fafe, Bico-grossudo, Chapim-palustre and so on!
