The Abtswoudse Park is an area with reed beds, ditches and meadows. Despite the location close to a residential area and the relatively large number of recreationists, you can see nice birds here, such as Pisco-de-peito-azul, Felosa-unicolor, Felosa-malhada, Narceja-comum, Zarro-comum, Cartaxo-comum, Frango-d'água, Cuco-canoro, Andorinha-das-barreiras, Guarda-rios-comum and Abetouro-comum (the last two species mainly in winter).

Nederlands: Het Abtswoudse Park is een gebied met rietvelden, slootjes en weilanden ten zuiden van Delft. Het sluit direct aan op een woonwijk. Ondanks de ligging dichtbij een woonwijk en de relatief grote hoeveelheid recreanten kun je hier leuke vogels zien zoals Pisco-de-peito-azul, Felosa-unicolor, Felosa-malhada, Narceja-comum, Zarro-comum, Cartaxo-comum, Frango-d'água, Cuco-canoro, Andorinha-das-barreiras, Guarda-rios-comum en Abetouro-comum (de laatste twee vooral in de winter).

The Abtswoudse Park is located directly south of Delft. The best way to explore the area is on foot. You can park anywhere on the road Straat van Ormoes. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking lot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 4.5 km.
