The population of the threatened Íbis-calva is luckily increasing again in Morocco, thanks to good protection. In this area near Tifnit you have a very good chance to see them. Sometimes the Íbis-calva can sit surprisingly close and are not shy. Especially when you use your car as a hide you can observe them well.
Along the Tifnit coast and beach you can also see several other coastal birds. For example Borrelho-grande-de-coleira, Maçarico-galego, Rola-do-mar, Pilrito-sanderlingo, Gaivota de Audouin, and above sea Ganso-patola and Garajau-comum.
