Descrição
In the lower wooded part of the Magaro Mountain area, Central European woodland species can be expected, including Dom-fafe, Pica-pau-malhado-pequeno, tits and others. As soon as you leave the tree line behind, classic species of the high mountains can be observed, including Androinha-das-rochas, Cotovia-cornuda, Melro-das-rochas, Gralha-de-bico-amarelo and Petinha-ribeirinha. There are regular sightings of the elusive and sought-after Perdiz-das-rochas. In addition, Laverca, Cartaxo-comum, Cartaxo-nortenho and Tordeia can be found on the plains. It is worth keeping an eye on the sky to look for raptors such as Bútio-vespeiro and Águia-cobreira.
