Descrição
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are Mobêlha-pequena, Mergulhão-de-pescoço-castanho, Eider-edredão, Falaropo-de-bico-fino, Merganso-de-poupa, Ganso-de-faces-negras, Cisne-bravo, Andorinha-do-mar-árctica, Borrelho-grande-de-coleira, Maçarico-de-bico-direito, Perna-vermelha-comum, Moleiro-parasítico, Gaivota-polar and Gaivota-hiperbórea.
