Descrição
Le Grand Pré is a wetland with a pleasant walk and a small hide overlooking a body of water during autumn / winter and spring. Can dry out during high summer months. During spring and autumn the reedbed supports large numbers of migrating rouxinol-dos-caniços and Felosa-dos-juncos, and Andorinha-das-chaminés and Andorinha-das-barreiras use the area as a roost. A morning visit shows it to its best advantage with sunshine lighting up the reeds. Among the other birds you can spot in the area are Alvéola-cinzenta, alvéola-branca, Gavião da Europa, Frango-d'água, chapim-real, Chapim-azul, Narceja-comum and Pica-pau-malhado-grande.
