Descrição
A walk that will take you round the areas north of the village of Lefkos. The first part (if you walk counterclockwise) will be through forested areas where Papa-moscas-cinzento, good amounts of Rola-comum, along with the all present Toutinegra-de-cabeça-preta can be seen.
On the northern side of the area (just before the landscape opens up), there is a drinking trough for the goats. It's worth stopping there for a while, as quite a few birds tend to gather.
On the western parts the landscape opens up with bush- and grassland, surrounded by the cliffs and ridges. Here Falcão-da-rainha, Chasco-ruivo, Melro-azul and Picanço-barreteiro can be seen. At the crossroad towards the nudist beach there was seen a family of Toutinegra-oriental.
The walk ends down a gorge and the remarkable sandstone cliffs along the coast. Finish your walk with a coffee and some of his marvelous bakings at the village baker - The Muffin man, driven by the friendly Nikos.

The circular route shown on the map is about 7 km. Along the eastern side of the route there is a house with some dogs (not at a leash when I passed, but they seemed quite cool).
Along the western side there is a farm with plenty of dogs, from what I could see all but one in cages, neither this one caused any problems.
