This great track along the hillsides can be a good spot to scan the skies for migrating raptors. Several hairpin-roads lead you up the hill, and from there you have a great overview of the area. During both spring and autumn migration, this is a nice stopover to look for migrating raptors, like Águia-cobreira, Búteo-mouro, harriers, Bútio-vespeiro, falcons and sometimes eagles.
The surrounding bushes and scattered trees are great for breeding Pica-pau-mediano, Toutinegra-de-cabeça-preta and chapim-sombrio.

You can drive along the road (following the hairpins up the hill) that leads you to a great overview of the area. The road is unpaved, so drive carefully.
