Descrição
Just southwest of Parakila, the Agios Ioannis chapel is located. The chapel lies within a scrubby and rocky gulley, and provides a great breeding habitat for species like Rouxinol-comum, chapim-sombrio, Escrevedeira-cinzenta and, especially, Escrevedeira-cinzenta. This last species can be found on the higher parts of the area.
The ridges above the gulley are good for (sometimes small flocks of) falcons, like Falcão-da-rainha, Peneireiro-das-torres and Falcão-de-pés-vermelhos.
