The meadows, ponds, marshes and reed beds of the Thürer Wiesen are home to many different rare breeding birds. Rola-comum, Rouxinol-comum, Perdiz-cinzenta, Cegonha-branca, Cartaxo-comum, Mocho-galego, Felosa-unicolor, Pardal-montez, rouxinol-dos-caniços, Cuco-canoro and Milhafre-preto all breed in the area.

Acesso
The Thürer Wiesen nature reserve is located southeast of the town of Thür. On the north side of the area is a small car park. Click on the P in the map for directions. It is possible to take a circular walk (about 5 km), although parts of it lead out of the actual area.
