There are three segments in this birdingplace. To the south west you can find reed areas separated by a thin line of trees and shrubs. More to the north east there is a little pond surrounded by grasland and in the eastern shore of Wittelsberger Bach there is a little lush forest. The complete area is surrounded by fields and farmland. Among the birds you can see in the area are Pisco-de-peito-azul, Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, Milhafre-real, Cegonha-branca, Abibe-comum, Perdiz-cinzenta, Frango-d'água and Felosa-malhada.

There are parking areas in the village but also just next to a little gravel road. The circular route indicated on the map is about 3 km long.
