The Tauerwiesenteich is located in a forest area and is surrounded by some smaller meadows. In addition to Grou-comum, you can observe Águia-pesqueira and Águia-rabalva in the area. In the breeding season you can hear the call of the Abetouro-comum and the rouxinol-dos-caniços and Rouxinol-grande-dos-caniços. In autumn, during bird migration, different species of waders make a stop here.

The Tauerwiesenteich is located on the road between Förstchen and Tauer. From the road there is a branch to the lake and a parking space. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. A path runs along the shore and there is a bird observation tower.
