The lakes of Steiner Seen are open to the public. On the largest of the three lakes there is a small island where you can observe ducks such as Pato-real and Zarro-negrinha. The area is partially surrounded by a small reed belt where songbirds such as Felosa-dos-juncos can be observed.
Guarda-rios-comum, Merganso-grande and Galinha-d'água can also be seen here regularly.

The Steiner Seen are located directly southeast of Stein am Kocher. There is a parking lot in front of the ponds. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The lakes can then be walked around (about 1,2 km).
