Descrição
The Stahlberg and Hölleberg area is dominated by well-preserved calcareous grasslands in different stages of succession and interesting for breeding birds of semi-open habitat, including Cuco-canoro, Codorniz, Rouxinol-comum, Laverca, Pica-pau-verde, Felosa-malhada, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo, Petinha-das-árvores, Cotovia-pequena and Torcicolo. Visitors are Milhafre-preto and Milhafre-real, Cegonha-preta, Corvo and Ógea. The area is also a well-known hotspot among botanists (orchids) and entomologists (e.g. butterflies).

Acesso
The site is accessible by car, there is a parking possibility at the airfield Hölleberg. From there, several hiking routes lead along the plateau which offers a scenic view over the Diemel valley. The length of the route you see on the map is about 7 km.
