Descrição
The cultivated grassland "Randowbruch" adjoins traditional forests and offers great opportunities for almost all Central European bird of prey species, especially in spring and summer. Águia-pomarina, Bútio-vespeiro, Búteo-calçado (in winter), Águia-rabalva, Milhafre-real, Milhafre-preto, all falcons (including almost annual records of Falcão-de-pés-vermelhos), Harriers (Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, unregularly Tartaranhão-caçador in summer, Tartaranhão-azulado in winter season) can be seen in good numbers and at close range. Rarities like Peneireiro-cinzento and Águia-imperial-oriental have been recorded.
In addition, typical grassland species like Abibe-comum, Maçarico-real or Wagtails can be observed. Also Toutinegra-gavião, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo and Petinha-dos-prados hold territory in the area.
