Pudersbach is surrounded by the wide green spaces of the Westerwald. It's a wooded area with large open spaces and fields. You can see various birds of prey like peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro, Gavião da Europa, Milhafre-real and owls like Bufo-real and Coruja-do-mato. The area is also rich in different songbirds. Among the birds you can see are chapim-montês, Chapim-palustre, Chapim-preto, Estrelinha-de-cabeça-listada, Lugre, Chapim-rabilongo, Pica-pau-mediano, Pica-pau-preto, Trepadeira-azul, Rouxinol-comum, Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca, Cruza-bico-comum, Pintassilgo and Dom-fafe.
