Descrição
The Polder Bramel is a perfect habitat for waders, waterfowl and meadow birds. It is an important resting area and wintering area for migratory birds. Bird species that can be seen here include Águia-rabalva, Águia-pesqueira, Pisco-de-peito-azul, Colhereiro and Guarda-rios-comum. The groups of resting geese, swans and ducks during the cold winter months are quite considerable. With a bit of perseverance and a bit of luck, rare species such as Gaivina-de-bico-vermelho, Gaivina-de-faces-brancas, Gaivina-d'asa-branca and Pernilongo can be spotted. Rare birds have also been documented here. These include Falaropo de Wilson, Pilrito de Baird and Socó-taquari.
