Nature reserve Letter Bruch is of great importance as a breeding and foraging habitat for many meadow birds. About 3-5 pairs of Maçarico-real breed here. Also a breeding ground for Abibe-comum and Cartaxo-comum. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are Codorniz, Perdiz-cinzenta, Cegonha-branca, Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, Mocho-galego, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo, Rouxinol-comum, Cartaxo-nortenho and alvéola-amarela.
