There are also older records of Gaivota-hiperbórea and Gaivota-polar from this area. Otherwise, Ostraceiro, Maçarico-real or Perna-vermelha-comum like to look for food there. A little further north is the cooling water outlet of the coal-fired power plant. Many seagulls are also concentrated there.
