Descrição
The Langwieser See is a small lake. The lake itself isn't very good for birding, but sometimes you can spot Guarda-rios-comum there. In the reed area about 100 meters east of the lake, in winter you can see for example Escrevedeira-dos-caniços and sometimes also Frango-d'água. In summer it's full of rouxinol-dos-caniços. West to the lake, there are nice water reservoirs, which in winter often contain Narceja-galega (best to spot with a thermal imaging camera), and sometimes Narceja-comum.
South to the reservoirs, there is a smal bush land with Escrevedeira-amarela, Pintassilgo and in winter often Tentilhão-montês. In the gardens and trees along the small stream you can find Lugre in winter and Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca and Papa-amoras-comum in summer. Sometimes you can also hear a Rouxinol-comum here.
Very good are the fields around the whole area. During migration you can see Petinha-dos-prados, Felosa-palustre, Cartaxo-comum (sometimes also staying over winter), Açor, Chasco-cinzento, alvéola-amarela, papa-amoras-cinzento and rarely Torcicolo, Abibe-comum and Tartaranhão-azulado. All year round you will find Pintarroxo-comum, Laverca, Garça-real and peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro. Sometimes you can also see Perdiz-cinzenta, Gavião da Europa or falcão-peregrino.
