The Kolksee is a pond along the river Kinzig where Guarda-rios-comum can be found. Among the other birds you can spot on the lake and in the surrounding area are Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas, Ganso do Egipto, Chapim-azul, Pato-real, Cegonha-branca, Garça-real and alvéola-branca.
