The Honigberg is a hill with nice mixed forest next to a large reservoir in the river Rur. In the forest you will find birds such as Pica-pau-preto, along the Friedenbach stream Alvéola-cinzenta and in the sky birds of prey soar such as Milhafre-real and Milhafre-preto.

Honigberg am Rur is located directly east of the village of Rurberg. You can park in Rurberg at the P (paid parking). From the parking lot you can explore the forest on foot. The circular walk shown on the map is about 5 km.
