In the beginning of Ehemalige Rieselfelder Werne you pass a tiny forest, where you can find Carriça, Pica-pau-malhado-grande and Pica-pau-verde and some other forest species. In the winter you can see Garça-branca-grande, Ganso-grande-de-testa-branca and sometimes even a Tundra Bean Goose. The biggest part of the area are fields that sometimes hold water. These fields are fenced, wich is good for Cartaxo-nortenho and Cartaxo-comum. In the fields you can see Petinha-dos-prados and alvéola-amarela you can watch even in the summer.
