When visiting the Welzheimer forest or the general area, you can make a quick stop at lake Ebnisee to watch some of the typical forest and water birds. This includes several geese species such as Ganso-comum, Ganso do Egipto and Pato-ferrugíneo, but also Pato-real, Galeirão-comum and potentially even a Merganso-grande during winter.

The Ebnisee is located between the town of Kaisersbach and the village of Ebni. There are two parking lots in the area. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking. But you can also get there by bus ("Kaiserbach Ebnisee") and of course by bike and foot. The circular walk around the lake is about 2 km.
