Deponielachen Gaschwitz consists of two ponds: the Gaschwitzer Lache and the Crostewitzer Graben. Deponielachen Gaschwitz is located 9 km south of Leipzig. Best way to get there is by bike. But the area is also in easy walking distance of the Markkleeberg-Gaschwitz railway station. If you are coming by car it is recommended to come via Gaschwitz and the Neuseenbrücke. From there, you can walk the rest. For cars there is a big parking on the Markkleeberger See. Press P on the map for directions to the Markkleeberger See parking lot.
The circular walk indicated on the map is starting from Markkleeberg-Gaschwitz railway station and is about 5 km.
