Descrição
Auesee Wesel is a lake that is mainly interesting in the winter to watch migrating waterfowl as well as to take a look at the birding island during breeding season. Rare and not so common ducks can sometimes be observed here, such as Zarro-bastardo, Zarro-castanho, Eider-edredão, Pato-fusco or Pato-olho-d'ouro. It's proximity to the Rhine river is a magnet for these migrating birds. There is a bird island, where birds like Garça-real, Andorinha-do-mar-comum and Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas breed and you can watch it from an observation point. Around the lake there are trees and woodlands with the birds, you can expect in such a habitat.
