Kochebi Lake is a remnant of the Caspian Sea located on 800 meters above sea level. It is a shallow lake of brackish water, surrounded by meadows, fields and a small forest. More than 150 bird species have been observed in the area. Birds you can observe include Pato-ferrugíneo, Pernilongo, Borrelho-pequeno-de-coleira, Maçarico-das-rochas, Pássaro-bique-bique, Maçarico-bastardo, Combatente, Mergulhão-de-pescoço-preto, Abelharuco-comum, Rolieiro-comum, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo, Calhandra-comum, Escrevedeira-de-cabeça-preta, Trigueirão, Pardal-francês, Búteo-mouro, Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis, Tartaranhão-azulado and Tartaranhão-caçador.

Kochebi Lake is located about 4 km east of Dedoplitzskaro and is best accessed by car or bicycle. There is an unpaved road in the west and north of the lake. Press P on the map for directions.
