Descrição
Route 23 is a beautiful panoramic road that runs along the Verdon canyon. The site is easily accessible by anyone. Just stand on the sidewalk that runs alongside the road and you can easily, especially in the central hours of the day, see several dozen Grifo-comum passing through the canyon, often at very short distances. Not all days are the same, but it is practically impossible not to see anything.
The good points are different, practically at every hairpin bend there is a panoramic point and each of them can be the right one, because Grifo-comum pass along the entire canyon. Other birds that you can observe from the viewpoints are Abutre-preto, Gralha-de-bico-vermelho, falcão-peregrino, Abutre do Egipto and Águia-cobreira.
