Among the birds you can observe in the area are Pisco-de-peito-azul, rouxinol-dos-caniços, Cartaxo-comum, Ostraceiro, Ganso-de-faces-negras, Águia-pesqueira, peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro, Águia-d'asa-redonda, Gralha-de-nuca-cinzenta, alvéola-amarela, Petinha-dos-prados, Pintarroxo-comum, Pato-branco, Cuco-canoro, Papa-amoras-comum, Gralha-preta, Pega-rabuda, Guarda-rios-comum and Perna-vermelha-comum.

The mouth of the river Sienne is located south of the town of Agon-Coutainville on the Normandy coast. There are some narrow parking spots. Click on a P in the map for directions. Note that the small car parks on the edge of the bay are submerged during high tides, so be careful where you park during high tides (see a link to the tide table below). The walking route indicated on the map is 8 km one way.
