Réserve Naturelle de l'Eiblen is a bird-rich semi-open area with orchards and hedges. The area also has gravel beds, old floodplain meadows and riparian forest along the river. Among the birds you can observe are Cegonha-branca, Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto, Felosa-das-figueiras, Picanço-de-dorso-ruivo, Rouxinol-comum, Mocho-galego, Guarda-rios-comum, Merganso-grande, Pica-pau-mediano, Cuco-canoro and Cartaxo-comum.
