Marais de la Vergne has multiple viewing spots. The area provides very decent marsh species specialties during spring: Pisco-de-peito-azul , Felosa-unicolor , Abetouro-comum , Tartaranhão-ruivo-dos-pauis , Águia-pesqueira and Íbis-preta. The area is unfortunately heavily hunted in winter. During this season it is best to visit Terre d'Oiseaux, about 10km north (see www.birdingplaces.eu/birdingplaces/france/terres-doiseaux), although one can have a chance to see Chapim-de-faces-pretas.
