Along the river Ognon and the forest and lakes of Bonnal many bird species can be observed. Especially Abelharuco-comum, Milhafre-real, Chamariz-comum, Milhafre-preto and Guarda-rios-comum. In summer it is also possible to see big groups of Cegonha-branca en Águia-d'asa-redonda. The best way to see birds at the river L'Ognon is by canoe, you can see many groups of Abelharuco-comum breeding. Other birds you can see in the area are Pica-pau-mediano, Pica-pau-verde and Bútio-vespeiro.
