Digue du Braek is a 6 km stretch with beach and shrubs. A good place for birdwatching. Many birds make a stopover here during migration. The area is easy accessible by car by bike. Among the birds you can see here are Merganso-de-poupa, Mergulhão-de-crista, Mergulhão-pequeno, Galeirão-comum, Ostraceiro and Abibe-comum. Also more rare birds like Escrevedeira-das-neves, Mobêlha-grande, Torda-mergulheira and Mergulhão-de-pescoço-ruivo can sometimes be seen here.
