The Vuosaari golf course attracts migrating birds in early spring and as soon as the snow starts to melt from the hill tops, the first Laverca start to arrive. Cisne-bravo, Ganso do Canadá, Ganso-comum and Ganso-de-faces-brancas like to stop to rest and eat on the fields too. Sometimes one can spot birds like Escrevedeira-dos-caniços, Escrevedeira-das-neves and Escrevedeira da Lapónia there too. Açor is a year round sight flying a top the field and sometimes peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro and Picanço-grande hunt in the area too.

There is a parking place closeby on the other side of the road. The place is accessible by bike. There are walking trails on the golf course. The fields tend to be snowy and slippery in spring.
