Descrição
Ovesø or Ove Lake is an 8 km long lake located in Thy. The lake is narrow and the deepest parts of the lake is two and a half meter. The area is a protected Natura 2000 area and consists mainly of reed bed. The area is protected as an important site for the otter and was for a period its only habitat in Denmark, but is also together with surrounding fields and meadows habitat for resting birds. Among the birds you can see here are Águia-rabalva, Marreco, Cisne-vulgar, Cisne-pequeno, Cisne-bravo, Zarro-comum, Garça-real and Andorinha-do-mar-comum.
