From the cape you have a good chance of observing Gaivota-de-patas-amarelas, Gaivota de Audouin, Pardela do Mediterrâneo, Cagarra-do-mediterrânico and Corvo-marinho-de-crista. In the fields, treelines and bushes behind the cape you can find birds such as Toutinegra-tomilheira, Toutinegra-de-cabeça-preta, calhandrinha and Cotovia-de-poupa.
From August to October many gulls, terns, herons, ibis and waders pass the cape during migration. Also birds of prey flying south from Turkey often make a stop here. And during migration don't forget to scan the bushes and fields for flycatchers, redstarts, pipits, wagtails and warblers.
