Descrição
Brijuni is a protected archipelago of fourteen islands lying just off the Istrian coast of Croatia, separated from the mainland by the narrow Fažana Channel. Only the largest island, Veliki Brijun, is open to regular visitors, and it is reached exclusively by the official National Park boat departing from the village of Fažana. The landscape of Veliki Brijun is Mediterranean with holm oak, pine, evergreen scrub, and long stretches of pale limestone coastline where the sea is clear. The boat trip to Brijuni is nice for observing gulls and cormorants. You have to pay an entrance fee and boat ticket to visit the island, but it is worth the money. Take a whole day for it.
