The town of Baška is located on the island of KRK. It is a very beautiful area. The coastal strip has beaches, hiking trails, rocks, and vegetated areas. Various gulls can be seen in this strip, such as Gaivota-de-patas-amarelas. You can often see Grifo-comum. Other birds of prey can also be found here, such as Águia-cobreira. If you walk from the beach onto the rocky paths, with a bit of luck you can find Melro-das-rochas. Abundant in the area is Corvo-marinho-de-crista and actually impossible to miss.
